The Trust and RBL help Rose after a car crash in Thailand

During a trip to Thailand to her see her son, Rose and her husband Arthur, along with her son was involved in a tragic and fatal car accident, sadly her husband and son were killed and Rose was left with serious injuries and spent 5 and a half months in Bangkok Hospital.

An appeal was set up by Rose and Arthur’s friend,  Steve Underwood but funds were still not enough to bring Rose home, that’s when The Royal British Legion and RNBT stepped in and donated £10,000 each to help repatriate Rose.  As Arthur served in the Royal Navy in his youth and as RNBT exisits to help those in need, including dependants, Rose was able to receive assistance.

Rose is now at the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham recovering from her ordeal.
