Guests gathered for the unveiling of The Jellicoe Room, the newly refurbished Committee Room at RNBT.
With a generous grant from The Royal British Legion, RNBT have converted the existing Committee Room into a multi-use facility optimised for the delivery of training events by other charities. The convertion work was completed mid January. The 75 inch media screen was fitted by our IT providers, Criterion IT and the old tables and chairs have been up-cycled and found a ‘forever home’ at the Royal Marines Association, Eastney.
Nick Jellicoe, the grandson of Admiral Jellicoe, founder of RNBTnamed the room in a fitting ceremony on Friday. Nick stated “It was a privilege and an honour to open this room, carrying on the legacy of my grandfather and the great work the Trust does.
