The RNBT spends just shy of £5 million every year helping serving and former sailors and marines and their families who are going through a rough patch or are simply unable to look after themselves for a variety of reasons – including getting old. This charity’s business is managed by trustees supported by the Trust’s employed personnel. Today was the termly meeting of the Finance and General Purposes Committee chaired by the Chairman of Trustees, Admiral Tony Rix. With him are fellow trustees Phil Shuttleworth, Mike Ellis and Ken Lambert with Nick Gartside and Owen Shred attending the meeting via tele-conferencing. They are supported by the Chief Executive, Stephen Farrington and Rob Jesson, the RNBT’s Financial Controller.
