Sandie Dixon and her team of willing volunteers organised the day’s events, from a raffle – courtesy of ticket sellers Sally and Chris Cotter, a golf day organised by Don Bromhead, a darts competition devised by Dave Plaiter and Aidan Drage’s long awaited beard shave, guess the cake weight, which was correctly guessed and then auctioned, raising further funds for RNBT, to complete the day music from the M27s and Jeff Radford.
A fundraising day packed full of events which hugely exceeded last year’s total. Sandie, with the regulars and friends of the Barley Mow PH in Southsea raised £1200.
RNBT would like to thank all those involved including Aaron Holloway, Pam Rogers and Kathleen Durning.
Next year’s event will be held in The Jolly Sailor pub, Southsea, in May.
