We joined forces with WRNS BT, The Association of Wrens and also RNRMC and set up ‘shop’ in the veterans’ marquee in Victoria Park. Lyn Gannon – standing in as the RNBT Events and Publicity Officer (EPO) for the ‘season’ – single handedly manned the RNBT stand.
The day was busy from the start with people visiting the stand, some familiar with the work of RNBT and some very pleased to see the Navy represented in such a predominantly Army city.
WRNS BT was on hand to provide a well-earned break for EPO to have some lunch. After a very exhausting day on her feet it was time for EPO to pack up for another year, have a cuppa and put her feet up. Thank you to everyone who visited the RNBT stand.
Armed Forces Day 2014 will be held in Stirling, Scotland.
